About Me

I'm Mario, a developer with experience building products end to end — from the database to the interface. Comfortable on both backend and frontend, I previously worked as a QA automation engineer, which gave me a sharp eye for detail and software quality. Today I bring all of that together to deliver high-quality applications that not only work well, but also feel great.

About me and my work

I work with technologies like React, Node.js, Astro, JavaScript, TypeScript, Cypress, Tailwind CSS, SASS, Figma, and more.

I have experience working in startups, tech consultancies, and established companies, building web products from requirement documents, user stories, Figma designs, and more.

I studied Computer Systems Engineering at UNIVDEP, which gave me a strong programming foundation. I hold certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Level and complement my training with self-directed learning.

I have experience in cross-functional teams using agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, Git/GitHub for version control, and QA to ensure development integrity.

I have worked with Scrum (two-week sprints, pull requests, code reviews) and Kanban (task boards, dailies). I regularly participated in daily standups to plan and report on progress.
